Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URL. This information is collected through Firebase Analytics and standard server logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process transactions and manage your subscription; send you service-related communications (such as account verification and billing notices); respond to your requests and support inquiries; monitor usage patterns to improve user experience; and protect against unauthorized access and abuse.
We do not use your information to: sell your personal data to third parties, send unsolicited marketing emails (unless you opt in), make automated decisions that significantly affect you, or profile you for advertising purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Service. These include Firebase (Google) for hosting, authentication, and database; Stripe for payment processing. These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated to protect it.
Team features: If you use Team tier features, your deal data and comments will be visible to members of your team as part of the collaboration functionality you have opted into.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers located in the United States. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Authentication for secure access, Firestore security rules restricting data access to authorized users, and security headers to prevent common web vulnerabilities.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and deal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data. You can also delete your account directly through the account settings page.

CapRateKit uses essential cookies and local storage required for the Service to function, including authentication tokens and user preferences (such as light/dark theme). 9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
